"Disney's Vision" (16"x20" oil on canvas board) SOLD This statue of Walt Disney with his little friend Mickey Mouse can be found in the very heart of Disneyland. Larger view
"Dinner Date" (9"x12" oil on canvas board) SOLD I came across these two horses enjoying their dinner on a farm in Vermont. Larger view
"View from Marginal Way" (11"x14" oil on canvas board) Marginal Way is a stretch of protected oceanfront in Ogunquit, Maine. Larger view
"Calm Waters (at Portland Head Light)" (9"x12" oil on canvas board) SOLD I've had several requests from friends and family for paintings of the Portland Head Light so this is one pictured on a sunny day. Larger view
"Dock at Pine Point" (16"x20" oil on canvas board) SOLD The area around Pine Point, Maine is certainly picturesque and I had no trouble finding scenes to paint. Larger view
"Lonely Boat at Sunset" (16"x20" oil on canvas board) I decided to experiment with a different color palette and used my reference photos from "Lonely Boat at Pine Point" to create this more colorful scene. Larger view
"Lily Pond" (9"x12" oil on canas board) This painting was inspired by my visit to Monet's gardens at Giverny, France. Larger view
"Venice Gondola" (24"x36" oil on canvas) I captured this picturesque scene while exploring the back alleys of Venice. I based this large oil painting on a pastel study I did a year ago.Larger view
"Venice Solitude" (12"x24" oil on canvas) I almost fell into the canal getting this shot which I used as reference for this painting.Larger view
"Basilica della Salute" (24"x36" oil on canvas) This painting was inspired by one of Venice's most beautiful landmarks. This view of the famous Basilica Santa Maria della Salute across the Grand Canal from St. Mark's Square captures the famous gondolas tied to their poles. Larger view
"Dockside in Venice" (24"x36" oil on canvas) SOLD It was an overcast day in Venice but the bright blue canvas covers of the gondolas tied up at the docks provided a bit of color. Larger view
"Santorini" (24"x30" oil on canvas) SOLD This view of Santorini shows the famous whitewashed homes and chapels of this beautiful island overlooking the deep blue waters of the caldera below. Larger view
"Bridge at Burano" (16"x20" oil on canvas) We were captivated by the brightly painted homes on the island of Burano, near Venice. Larger view
"In the Cotswolds" (16"x20" oil on canvas) The Cotswolds north of London is a picturesque area known for his thatched roofed cottages and beautiful flower gardens. Larger view
"Journey in Time" (11"x14" oil on canvas board) One of my favorite places in Rome is the ancient Forum. This painting shows the Forum on a late summer afternoon. Larger view
